Hi, I am a 40 year old man. I had been freelancing for the past 8 years but now I hardly have any work as AI has rendered my skills redundant. To address this situation I took the decision to change my career and thus have enrolled in a data analytics certification course. While I am aware that I'll be considered as a fresher, I am worried how I would fare in the job market, especially when the other applicants would be half my age. Is it too late to make a change? Would I be able to secure a job in an entirely new but booming domain at this age?

I have been laid off by the company in January 2018. I have the PF account & till date the PF balance amount around 16 lacs, till now I have not withdraw the PF amount. & Till now I was unemployed. Pl. Suggest weather I should withdraw the PF amount or not. or u should continue. Pl advise

Dear Sir My last employer has shared me Certificate of Employment on my mail id after serving notice period and approval of resignation, and when I asked them if I should expect seperate document as experience and relieving letter they replied same document i.e certificate of employment will serve as both relieving and experience letter. so sir kindly confirm if it's correct or will I face any issues in future with this document? Note: this certificate of employment clearly says I worked from xyz date to abc date and it says I have been relieved from the services from close hours of abc date And in bottom it's mentioned : as per your contract of employment you will be bound by non- compete, solicition, non disclosure etc I am worried why my last employer have me certificate of employment instead of relieving letter and will it affect me in future?

Im 49 years old i worked as a teacher in a private unaided school in Telangana Medchal Mandal for the past 24 years.I started my career in teaching in this school since 1998 -2024 March 15. I was asked to quit the school since the new management wanted to have teachers according to their whims and fancies. I worked for her parents when the parents died the property was divided among her daughters finally the elder one cornered it she didn't want the old staff to work and wanted to appoint new staff. When my old correspondent (her mother) when we asked for PF she assured i can't insure right now because i should have done right at the inception of the school so i promise to pay good will when you leave the school for the service rendered towards the school unfortunately she too died in 2021 then her daughter present correspondent didn't even do any favour Unfortunate thing i worked for such an institution there i had not facilities of PF . I served so loyally for this institution as a token of gratitude to my service.they didn't pay anything. Finding a job in other institution they doubt over long standing experience in one school and owing my age they are hesitant to offer a job i have attended few interviews in school . I'm running pillar to post to find a job to support myself. Im helpless and desperate don't know what to do. Please help mem

Sir, I dont know if I am successful in life. I'm 47 and work in a reputed Automotive company as AVP. My wife is with one of the top Indian pvt Bank as Region Head. She is only child of govt servants. We have 2 kids nearing teenage. Combined CTC is 74 lpa. We live in a 3 bhk and have 3 more apartments in Mumbai suburbs which is let out on rent and also invested in a small office space. 2 of these properties are inheritance. I do management consulting part time apart from regular work whenever I get time. My colleagues have become VP and Sr. VP. This I feel has been a point of concern for me. Don't know if I'm doing right things. I don't want to go to any smaller company as I've been here for 15 years. I have been working in a company in Finance Department at GM Level for more than 12 years and i have got promotion in 3rd year (DGM to GM) in the company. My boss has been changed thrice. My current boss does not respect my area profile which is compliance, FS preparation, dealing auditors. He only understand business financial reporting. I work with the rule of law/book and sometime I got adamant as this is my nature of job is. My promotion is on hold and he is not ready to give a promotion. Instead, he is suggesting me to move to a different team for promotion if any openings are there. Few are even non-qualified one. How do I mitigate this situation? It is demotivating and frustrating now now working in the organisation since few my colleagues or people under me have moved to the next level and few reached at the level where I am. Dear Sir, I am working in Electronics industry from last 6 Years. I done Diploma in Electronics and communication engineering. In 2010 I diognized with heart problem and it was cured again Due to both hip joint issue (AVN) I resigned a job, after surgery and break from work for 5 months, I gone to a interview and passed 3 Rounds of interview but last in HR round they about why you taken break I frankly answered. But they told me wait for 30mins after waiting more than an hour they a reply we not talk with client then we will contact. If any person with a disability or health reasons can't they work or we need to depend on our family. So many people are from lower middle class family every family member need to earn to lead a life in this expansive world. Please suggest me what work is suitable for me sir. Thank you

Sir,I am a retired Civil Engineer by VRS Scheme at the age of 54 years in 2020 ,January, having experience in civil construction and maintenance of Civil Engineering projects including services for about 30+ years of experience. I have been offered for the post of General Manager by a Global Construction Company, Before issuing the posting and joining letter ,the company asked me to submit the Management Certificates as PMP, MPM, Scrum, PgMP within two days along with my Qualification ,Experience and Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card Photo ,Bank Pass Book, Crossed Cheque pay data of last served Department etc. Since I have no experience about Management related Subjects, as per the policy of said Company It is mandatory to submit the above noted Certificates before issuing the joining letter. They are saying to get these certificates from a tie up agency by paying INR50000, Should I pay them.?. Please suggest. What measures should I take before and after payment? What is the Guarantee and use of these certificates ,in case the company not permit me to join for the GM post.
